Had scanned some pictures to my pictures and now all but one of them turned
from JPEG images to JPG file and I can't open them on preview. And to top
that off when I try to e-mail pictures from my pictures to e-mail I get a
http 404 error. I heard hotmail add has changed to hotmail.msn.com. Anyone
else have this happen or know how to fix?

All data stored in a computer is stored as a 'FILE'.

Joint Photographic Experts Group, or JPEG (in Windows 'filefname.JPG') is
one of the two commonly used image formats on the Web. JPEG format is best
suited to photographic images.

Thus the storage of a scanned image as 'filefname.JPG' is correct.

As to how you are attempting to attach the image to a hotmail message, make
sure you really know what's going on and follow the prompts correctly.

It is possible that, from time to time, Hotmail's server doesn't respond
quickly enough and your message fails to be created correctly. ALso make
sure that the file size is kept to a reasonable size. I'd suggest less than
512Kb in order to reduce transmission times.
