I have stupidly bought a DVD Player on the internet for £99 which I thought would show all my JPEG pictures. It is only for MP3. Can I convert my JPEG pictures to thia format or have I lost my DVD Player.

Jpeg are pictures, MP3 are audio. So no you can't. Why would you ask about non computer stuff here.

==================================
If your DVD player will play a VCD you could
consider trying Plus! Photo Story 2 which is
included in the following program.

Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition
http://tinyurl.com/9ruv

There's a free version you can download
but it does not have the VCD capability.

Try out Plus! Photo Story 2

To create a PhotoStory requires WinXP
and WMP9 but they can be viewed with
WinSE or better and WMP7.1 or better.

Also, the following program will create
VCDs...there is a 30 day evaluation
version that can be downloaded:

Jasc Paint Shop Photo Album 4:

I'm very surprised that your DVD player at that price can't play JPGs.
You've either got it wrong or you've been had.

I bought one for a friend from Woolworths for £50 that plays anything you
shove into the tray. All is not lost as you've got money to burn - get a
cheap an cheerful authoring program like Pinnacle Expression (around £25-30)
which will happily convert your jpegs to vcd (mpeg1) svcd and dvd (mpeg2).

all the best for Xmas and New Year
