Jpeg and gif question

Hi, on my old ibm pc with win 98, you could do a search
and then go to a spot where you could find all the gifs
and jpegs that were on your computer from all the
websites you visited and then either keep or delete
them. I now have a Dell inspiron laptop with Windows XP,
where can I find the info about the gifs and jpegs on my
computer.

Go to Start/Search and type in: *.gif
Go to Start/Search and type in: *.jpeg
