Ok I have a old Domain Call HI-PDC..com a new Smal Business Server Domian
hi.local

Now I want tthe user in their windows XP use the new doamin hi.local but
when I join the new domain from Windows XP it chages the all setting of the
user, so how do I keep same setting for the user in the local PC for the new
domain ?

Thanks

When I have had to do the same, I would simply copy their profile (as the
admin) to another folder using the profile menu in computer properties,
advanced. Once the user has logged in once, log them off, and as the admin,
manually copy the old profile files back over the new one with explorer. It
seems to work pretty well.

Hi

You can reuse the old profile with the new user by changing the new
user's ProfileImagePath in registry to point to the old profile.
