Hi - you might want to consider using a newsreader like Outlook Express or
Forte Agent rather than the web interface to the newsgroups. You shouldn't
have this problem, and it's a lot easier to do nearly everything there,
including searching, which is always a good idea to do before you post, as
well as mark messages to be watched, and filter based on replies to your
posts.
The Microsoft public news server is msnews.microsoft.com and you can
subscribe to as many groups as you like.
Now, as for your question:
A Windows computer can belong to only one domain or workgroup at a time.
There are third party utilities such as MultiNetworkManager, but I don't
bother with them - you don't really need them.
Once you've logged in using your domain account (using cached credentials),
and have an IP address on the other network and can ping by IP and name
alike, you can map drives, use printers, whatnot, very easily - one way is
to use a command line:
net use x: \\computername\sharename /user

therdomainname\username <enter>
Once you've entered your password once, it will cache it for that session
and you can connect to other resources on the servers, etc., on the other
domain.
Or you can map a drive using alternate credentials in Windows Explorer
(tools menu).
