joining a domain with a server running DNS

I have a server running 2000 advanced server it is the domain conrtoller and is running of course DNS(imagine that) I ahve another ocmputer running 2000 prof and was wanting to jopin it to a domain my question is what steps do i need to do on the server end to allow the other computer to join the domain i mean do ineed to setup a user account on the server and then use that when i login with the ohter one or what cant quite remember what i need to do at least i got the dns and active directory up and running though

When you join it to the domain, you will need to use a user account that has
rights to add machines to the domain.

Make sure all clients and servers including DCs that will be a member of
your AD Domain use only the DC for DNS.
