Joined a domail and user directory missing

When I joined a new domain the files contained in the My
Documents folder had disapeared, I looked within the
Documents and Settings folder and the folder for the login
name of the previous domain had disappeared. Could
somebody please help.

they are probably in :\documents and
settings\login.something\folder

here is what happened:
logging into the domain, you now have a "new" login,
stored seperately. The folders here are new and empty.
Your stuff is in the old login, for the single machine,
and you can easily copy it over.
