Symantec’s Information Management Group, with industry leading
products that ensure successful backup, recovery and archiving of
information and systems for organizations, is looking for exceptional

Responsibilities
• Play an active role in designing and implementing the next
generation of data protection technologies in our Information
Management Group.
• Design, coding, testing, debugging
• Looked upon to offer direction, guidance and mentoring to other team
members as necessary
• Come up with innovative solutions, articulate ideas and make
presentations to team
• Work with a global team of engineers to analyze, develop and
maintain highly complex modules, and undefined tasks.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Ability to anticipate problems and future technical needs and take
necessary corrective steps to ensure that they are addressed.
Qualifications
• BS in Computer Science
• 8 years of related experience
• Core expertise in Microsoft windows systems and internals
• Object oriented design, implementation of algorithms in C/C++
• Knowledge of Windows internals, Windows PnP architecture, device
drivers, Windows I/O stack
• SAN, Fibre Channel, filesystems/volume manager etc
• Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal, verbal and
written communication skills
• Knowledge/experience with server virtualization technologies is
highly desirable
• Unix/Linux skills will be an added advantage
