Jet OLEDB:New Database Password

can someone explain me what is the purpose of this property? how can I
modify the password of an access database at run time?

My recommendation would be to remove the database password entirely.
This feature was circumvented several years ago, and anyone motivated
enough to do a google search can easily bypass it. Unfortunately even
user-level security does not deliver security in any meaningful sense
of the word. If you have data that needs to be secured, do not use
Access. If you are just trying to deter nosy users, there are other,
easier ways to go about it.
