Jet Database Engine

I have a database that I created in Access. One day it
just began telling me an error saying "Jet Database Engine
was not started. Another user is using the database..."

I don't know what that is talking about because I nobody
else is using the database. Now I am unable to open the
database. this error comes out everytime and wont give me
access. I have Office XP and really need the database.

Please help.
 
It happens to me also. Go to Windows Update And Download the Jet engine Update.That resolve my problem. Good luck on your project.
