JavaVirtual Machine

Maureen A. Darling

Over the weekend, I reinstalled Windows XP on my computer
because my files were corrupted. When I try to play the
games I used to play(Pogo and MSN),I can't. It tells me
that I need to install Java Virtual Machine and they give
me directions as to how to do it, but the directions do
not work. Please advise, I wish I couild talk to a real
person. I'm going out now and will be back around 4 pm.
Love and kisses, Maureen

Hi, I am responding to you for the second time. Just go
to www.java.com and click on Free Java software Download.
After downloading install Java software and you will not
have a problem playing games.

Sun's version does not work on all web sites, unlike Microsoft's Virtual
Machine (Java).

 I don't recommend switching between them, but uninstalling the Sun
version (still beta?) and install Microsoft's VM.
