Yesterday, I had some odd 'not enough timers' messages, which only went away
when I closed all the open IE windows.
A bit later (well, this morning) I realised that IE had javascript set to
disabled, instead of enabled. This was mildly puzzling, but I set it enabled
and thought that'd be the end of it.
But it now seems that while javascript is happy when I'm online, it's
apparently disabled locally. If I look at a particular page of my website
online, scripting is there and happy; if I look at the same page before it's
loaded to the web, it displays the <noscript> stuff. No problem with
javascript.
I'd like to know if anyone has any ideas (a) how to make IE6 believe that
javascript is enabled everywhere; and (b) why javascript should be disabled
without me doing anything in the first place.
TIA
