Java

Somehow my java is not enabled and I am unable to access certain sites. If i
try to go to "add or remove programs" I can neither uninstall or install
it...I keep getting an error message stating "error applying transforms.
verify that the specified transform paths are valid."

Is there some type of "tool" that I can use? This is my first pc, and I
understand almost nothing about this type of issue.

Hi Dianne

Open Internet Explorer and go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced. Scroll
down to and enable Java(Sun). Restart IE. Does that help?

Go to the Java home page and download a fresh copy of Java and install it

For that simply go to:http://www.msn.com Search,type:Microsoft Java
Virtual Machine In the results,locate the MJVM download from a 3rd party,
it'll have x86 on it.After its installed,open windows update catalog
OS,scroll
to windows server 2003 web edition,in critical updates,select the update for
MJVM Its for xp,install,restart computer.To verify,open cmd type:jview

hi, 1st thing 1st go to www.java.com and update your java with sun. if that
doesn't help get on Internet and Search for file>>>>Msjavx86_3805 which is
microsofts jvm install it ....then open Internet explorer/ Tools/
options/advanced/ scroll to java and make sure they are enabled ...if not put
check in box's then exit and reboot.
this should take care of the java problem you are having.
