I recently had windows xp installed on my computer. I am
now unable to play games on Yahoo, nor am I able to open
some e-mails or view some web pages. I sometimes get an
error message stating that my java script is not
enabled. How do I go about correcting this problem?

If using Internet Explorer, click the TOOLS menu, then the SECURITY
tab|INTERNET ZONE and affirm that JavaSCRIPT settings are either at the
default, or as you wish.

What you may be seeing is lack of JAVA, which is an entirely different
critter than JavaSCRIPT. Install the latest, standard implementation from
http://java.sun.com/getjava
