Java script problem

I have logged this problem before. I tried to fix with
the suggestions given along with the support site of
Java.com., but to no avail.

I get a red"x" in some cases. This error was clearly
mentioned on the java site, but I am unable to do the fix
suggested due to another error. The site tells me to
open the Java icon in the Control Panel and check the
configuration, however, when I click on the icon, I get
this message:
Hkey_local_machine\software\javasoft\javaplug-
in\1.4.2._03.

I've tried downloading other versions, still have
problem. I recently did a Complete System Restore., still
have the problem. Please HELP HELP. I don't know where
to go from here.

locale=en&host=www.java.com:80

This will install the latest version of Java Desktp. This
should help you with your problem of java scripts not
working correctly on some web pages.
