Java Pluggins

I am having problems going to any web site after installing java pluggins.
Any hints on what could cause it not to work. Thanks.
 
Thank you for your response. I installed java plug-in 1.4.1_07. I needed to
visit a wed site that requires that I install the java plugin which I did. I
am using w2kpro. Thanks.
