java applet problems with IE 6

Since upgrading to IE 6 I can not access java applet games
on Yahoo. I've tried altering settings but to no avail.
Any ideas?

Download Microsoft JavaVM from here:
http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/msjavx86.exe

Then, update MS Java VM version to 3810 via WindowsUpdates page.
