Hi guys,
I'm having a real problem at the moment with a Text editor we use in
one of our website admin systems. The text editor is a Java applet and
basically I'm trying to talk one of our client through over email on
how to enable it on her browser.
No matter what I've suggested all she's getting is big red cross on
the page. Even stranger is the fact that one of the girls sitting next
to her apparently has exactly the same configuration and it's working
fine.
Here's a breakdown of what I've tried so far:
1) Enable the options 'Active Scripting','Allow paste operations via
script' and 'Scripting of Java applets'in Security.
2) Enabling 'Java Permissions' and setting it to Medium Safety
3) Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins
4) Empty her temp files and restarting the machine.
....and we're still not getting anything.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you get round it?
She's running a PC with IE6.
Cheers,
JamesB
