that require the use of java, and as they are launching or in the process of
aero stops and goes back to the standard vista and when i exit the program
(s) it will retrun to where it was, any suggestions thought opions would be
great. of if this is a known issue please let me know

Thanks,

Hi,
Check this out:

NOTICE: It seems that most, if not all, Java-based Windows applications
disable Aero Glass. This is only temporary and the effects are restored when
the program is closed. This issue has been fixed in the latest builds of
Java 6

You can get Java 6 here: http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/ea.jsp

Just to head off any misconceptions; it's beta also;and you want the
Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Beta 2
The Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java
applications.

It solves those glass issues you've been having.

also you can find an AMD64 version of java on the bottom of that list if you
are running the 64bit version of vista.
