I've replaced an empty ink cartridge. Computer thinks empty

I've replaced an empty cyan ink cartridge. The computer message continually
reads that it's empty and will not allowed me to print in color. I've
rebooted, but that's all that I know how to do. Any suggestions?

Nothing to do with Word. Contact the printer manufacturer or find a support
forum for your printer model.

Contact your printer manufacturer's tech support -- not a Word
question. It's entirely possible that the replacement cartridge is
defective.

If it is not a duff cartridge, it could simply need re-seating. Take it out
and put it back again.
