I've downloaded a document but Word wont let spelcheck. Help?

Obviously its somehow locked the document, but seeing as its a form that I
have to fill in, this is not very helpful. Its quite urgent that I submit
this form, and I'm new to Word, yesterday, so all help gratefully accepted.

You might read the article at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/SpellcheckProtectDoc.htm, but if you did
not create the form, this probably won't help you, especially if you can't
unprotect it to add the macro. If the form is password-protected, then you
can't unprotect it at all (except by inserting the form into a new
document). Just fill in the form and check your spelling manually (pretend
it is 1980).

There is no spell check normally available in locked forms.
