itunes in powerpoint

Is it possible to use Apple Itunes as background music in a PowerPoint 2003
(PC) document?

Does the music file need to be converted?

It's most probable that the itunes files have some kind for digital rights
management on them. Which means they are unlikely to work in powerpoint.

If you can convert them to mp3 then they should work in powerpoint.
