Anyone else getting this? Please tell me how to fix this crap.
Have you checked for updates to your iTunes application, have you checked
for updated drivers for your iTunes device.

Its picking up my ipod, its just when I click on the itunes icon to luanch
7.2 the same window pops up saying itunes has stopped wotking. I already lost
count the the amount of times I've reinstalled itunes 7.2 on Vista 32 bit

It could well be recognizing your iPod but that doesn't mean there aren't
updated drivers for it that might resolve an issue such as you describe.

The next thing to check would be to make sure you have the latest Vista
compatible drivers for your graphics card and soundcard and make sure the
drivers support all functions of your card and not simply the basic
functions. Also, be sure to check for any disclaimers at the driver
download site as the drivers may now support all functions but there may
still be exceptions that might be critical and cause the problem you are
experiencing.

Uninstall iTunes, sell your iPod.

Or, uninstall iTunes, download the most recent release from Apple and
install it.

Or, contact Apple support, who will probably just tell you to do what I just
did (the second option, not the first <g>).
