Items not being saved in "sent items" from sub-folder?

Hi,

I'm sure this has been asked & answered before but I couldn't find anything
on google groups.

When I reply or forward emails that I have stored in subfolder(s) of the
inbox, copies are saved in **that** folder & **not** the "sent items"
folder. Can anyone tell me how to change Outlook's behaviour so they are
saved in "sent items" instead, alternatively, can anyone let me know a
custom rule that would achieve the same result.

In OL 2003, it is Tools, Options, Email Options, Advanced Email
Options - there is a check box named "In folders other than Inbox,
save replies with original msg".

Thanks very much, I ommited to say I was using Outlook 2002 but your
solution worked just the same.
