items in drop down box are there but not visible

My Company is trying out this database program that runs in Access it is
Called TEAMS. It is loaded in the computer and has sample information built
in we just go back and enter our own info for our company. The problem is in
the drop down boxes where some of the categories are supposed to be, are not
displaying. However if you move your mouse in the pull down menu and click
on a line the category shows up in the box, but none of the categories will
display in the drop down box. So it's a guessing game as to which one your
going to get when you click on it.
 
Since you don't mention what version of Access you're using, I'll take a
guess that it's Access 2003, you just recently installed SP3 and you got hit
by a bug in the service pack! Assuming that's the case, check
