It would be neat, and maybe already can be done (but not by me, today, here). To have a hit counter on selected pages in my site, which would automatically reset on a given day of the week/month, and send results to a spreadsheet for me. Now, someone is going to tell me I can do that (ha!) with HTML, right? I was kinda hopeing the web component was that smart (one of us needs to be....).

I have never seen a hit counter that does that. However I think it could be done with a server-side
scripting solution using ASP, ASP.net, PHP etc and a database, not a spreadsheet.

most hosts will allow you to run reports, rather than reseting the counter.
