I've set-up my Windows Mail but for some reason it won't automatically
receive mail. I have to click the send/receive button which is quite
annoying, can anyone advise me please?

Click on Tools, then Accounts, then your email account, then Properties.
If there's no check mark in the box before Include this account when
receiving mail or synchronizing, click on this box, then Apply. Click
on OK, then Close.

Click on Tools, then Options. If there is no check mark in the box
before Send and receive messages at startup, click on this box, then
Apply. Click on OK.

Ok, they seem to be coming through now, thanks. However I tried to send
myself a test e-mail but didn't receive it. What's that all about? LoL

You're welcome.

Not receiving the test mail probably indicates your email servers
are slow.
