Ok. My inbox is possessed! About a week ago, I had problems with my inbox
deleting all the messages after they've been read. I checked my view and
cleared all the filters - made sure that messages was checked. And pretty
much thought the problem was fixed. Until today. IT DID IT AGAIN! I'm
thinking that somewhere in this system is a default setting to erase all of
the inbox messages after a certain period of time. Does anyone know how to
fix this?

Did you verify that your view is still set to messages instead of new
messages OR set to view messages from the last 7 days?

You may be autoarchiving but that doesn't normally occur weekly.

You can also open Outlook with the /cleanviews switch which will restore
Outlook to its default views:

Start > Run > outlook.exe /cleanviews

Auto-Archive moves old items into an archive store (usually called
archive.pst). It also empties your Deleted Items folder.

I believe the default setting for it to occur is every 14 days.
