Issues With XP Home connecting with Terminal Server?

Emil

I have two remote users both on XP Home and are connecting
to a Windows 2000 Terminal Server. The problem is that
their connection will get disconnected after a short time
being connected. The message is "Remote Desktop
Disconnected The connection to the remote computer was
broken. This may have been caused by a network error.
Please try connecting to the remote computer again."

The user domain accounts are set to "never" on the
terminal services tab.

Is there any known issues with XP home? Is there a
resolution to fix this problem?

There aren't any known issues that would cause this problem...

Check the quality of the network connection between the users and the
server.. This error is typically a network error..

Greetings, Emil. Is there a router established? If so, you may want
to check its settings. I have set my company's routers set to drop
the connection after "X" amount of time. Within the network there
isn't anything restricting Terminal Server connections, but if I were
to connect from outside the network, like from home, my connection
lasts "X" amount of time. I hope that helps!
