I am using Excel 2000. I have word wrapping turned on in Excel for a cell
and after reaching a certain amount of characters, word wrapping stops
working. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Thanks,
Jig.

What is the number of characters? Look in help for specifications, excel can
only display about 1024 characters in a cell

It seems that at around 1077 characters (could be less), Excel wont wrap the
text...is there any fix to this? New version of Excel?

That 1024 limit can be extended by adding alt-enters (to force a new line in the
cell) every 80-100 characters.

And it usually fixes the problem that the text just seems to disappear....

(But you may have to adjust the rowheight manually.)
