Issues with Outlook 2007 (also running CRM 4.0 RollUp 6)

Hi there,

some users here are experience some weird behaviour in Outlook.
Frequently when they try to attach files they get a message 'The
operation failed'. This is not very informative. Pressing the 'Send'
button doesn't do anything (no error, window doesn't close, etc.) and
pressing the X to close gives the usually warning that the message
hasn't been send. So they click save and if they're lucky, about 1/3 to
1/2 of the message will appear under draft. That's if they are lucky,
frequently nothing gets saved at all.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

The Exchange Server and CRM servers are on another site (in another
country). Only some users seem to have these issues.

I can try that, thanks. Usually when the CRM configuration is removed
the problem doesn't show. Then again, it doesn't always have the issue
in the first place.

It also seems related to a template. They have a template message for
sending out prices, if it occurs, it's always on messages based on this
template. They tested it and when the issue is occuring messages without
a template still go out fine.
