I recently reinstalled because some programs were missing
critical libraries. Upon updating all the components from
the update site. I ran SFC to check on the system
components. I received a message to insert the windows CD so
SFC could replace missing dlls with the original version.
I took note that on the last time through, the DLLs it
replaced were the ones updated by the update packets.
Isn't there some way to update the list of versions that
sfc checks for, so sfc will recognize the newer ones as the
authentic ones.
