Issue with query criteria and forms

I need a help regarding an issue that I have with query criteria and forms.
I made a query consisted of 3 tables. When I make a form in Access Form
Wizard from this query, everything works fine: I get a main form with two sub
forms. But when I apply criteria on the same query and try to make a form the
same way, the Wizard doesn’t make sub forms any more, only one form instead,
with all fields on it.
Does anybody know why this happens and how to overcome the problem?
