Sorry, I know this is not the correct place to post this but don't know what
is.

I've just downloaded a game from the net with a torrent. The file came down
with an ISO extension so I can't run it. What is this ISO extension all
about.
 
Hi Mac,

The ISO file that you downloaded is an image of the original CD or DVD. You
would have to burn the image to CD or DVD using third-party burning software
(the built-in recording tool in WINXP won't work for burning this type of
file to blank media) or mount the image using Virtual Drive software (Daemon
Tools, for example).

Yes, adding to Patti try to download this Iso image burner program and burn
this ISO to a CD or a folder on your Desktop:
