Our XP home edition laptop won't boot properly. As the
system is starting a message appears that says -
ISASSE.EXE Systme Error: When trying to update a password,
this return status indicates that the password provided as
the current password is not correct. The start up process
immediately aborts and restarts. We do not and have never
had a password on this system. Further, SAFE MODE and
other alternatives all produce the same message. I can't
seem to get around this error and don't have an alternate
boot device. Any advice?
