ISA OR PROXY SERVER STRENGTHS VERSUS CISCO ACLs

Could anyone provide me their insight into why, in a microsoft
environonment, I should use the ISA/proxy server versus just relying on my
cisco routers and their capabilities with ACLs? I know web caching is a
capability of the ISA/Proxy server, but beyond that, what do I get?

Thank-you in advance.

Hello,

With ISA Server you can control access based on user credentials when using
the web proxy client
or the firewall client on your internal machines.

I am not sure if you have such an option for the ACLs on the Cisco routers.
