ISA I/O IRQ Settings

Hello,

I have a CAN card that is connected to the ISA bus. What I'm wondering is
if I can configure the I/O address and IRQ settings either offline in target
designer or with first boot agent. I am wanting to avoid putting the add
hardware wizard on the build for the target platform since it has a big
footprint.

I tried modifying the .inf file itself, but it still didn't work, I'm not a
driver developer though and really do not want to hack the .inf if at all
possible. If this is the way to go though, if anyone can point me to a site
that gives good directions on how to embed static I/O address and IRQ
numbers in the .inf file.

Hi Cris,

I must admit that I'm supprised that ISA still exists.
Post inf file in this NG so we can have look at it.

And can you explain how you configure it under windows xp.
