Is Vista worth upgrading to from XP?

I have a Gateway, Pentium 4, 1.8 and ran the Vista Upgrade Advisor and
it said that I could run Vista Home version. It did point out a few
things would need upgraded drivers but for the most part everything
looked ok.

I am running XP. Is Vista worth the expense of upgrading to or should
I just stick with XP?

Your thoughts?

1.8GHz?
How much memory?
How much hard drive space?

I would recommend *not* going.

Hi Waldo,

I would suggest sticking with XP.

If you do choose to upgrade to Vista, you will want to check with Gateway
first to see if they recommend the upgrade and if they have any Vista
drivers and utilities available for that particular machine.

yes
How much memory? 1 gig
How much hard drive space? 340 gigs

I would recommend *not* going.

I've decided to stick with XP. Why bother switching when XP and this
machine does everything that I want it to do very nicely. I'll just
wait a few years until I get a new computer. By then there will
probably be another OP besides Vista...

Thanks,
Waldo
