I have an Excel spreadsheet with the following dat
cost area yea
23 a 199
0 a 199
0 a 199
8 c 199
2 c 199
17 a 200
2 a 2000...et
I would like to group together all the area a's for each year b's for each year etc to get a total cost for each area each yea
i.e
total area yea
23 a 199
10 c 199
19 a 200
Am I able to do this using a pivot table, or is there a better way
