Is this possible ?

Hi all,

Learning excel and need some advice. I have a worksheet with over 400
entries (product No’s in column A and location history of produc
spanning entire row). Is it possible to add a new worksheet and inser
a search box where I can type in a product number and it will searc
sheet 2, for that number in column A, then copy and paste/displa
location history (that entire row, including number) back in sheet 1.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, this is possible. In your new worksheet, assume that you will typ
in the part number in cell A1. In cell b1 through z1, use a vlooku
function to lookup the data and bring over the data that correspond
with your original part number. If you want to get fancy, add a comb
box from your forms toolbar
