I have a workbook with macros, saved as .xlsm. It has some buttons, that
launch macros, on a worksheet. 4 of them lined up one above the next.
Butttons are a "normal" size for buttons. This book is years old (5+)
(converted it to xlsm about a year ago when i upgraded). All the sudden,
every time i open the book, or press one of the buttons, it changes in size.
Changes A LOT in size. One of them was about 2"x2" (big square) for a
while. Now, just pressed it and it decided to become more rectangular,
mabye 3"x1". Covers up other buttons and other cells on the sheet. Totally
bizarre. I have not edited or changed the macros in ages. Have not even
opened the macro editor. I am ...clueless... as to why this is or could be
happening. Its been going on for a few weeks now. It certianly is
disconcerting and makes one wonder about the reliability of the product.
My questions:
o has anybody else ever seen this?
o does anybody know why this might be happening?
o does anybody have any suggestions as to how to stop i?
o do you agree that it is the most bizarre thing you could imagine? (well,
in the XL world).
Thanks,
tom
