Is there such a 4 pin firewire cable to hdmi cable?

I have a zr800 dv video recorder, it has a 4 pin (not 6 pin) firewire
connection, but my laptop has only usb or hdmi connection. Is
there such a thing as 4 pin firewire cable with hdmi on the other
end? or is hdmi not used for that kind of thing? thanks.

Firewire and HDMI are completely different interfaces, and are in no way
electrically compatible You can't connect the two with anything short of
an active device. You'd be better off looking for something to bridge
between Firewire and USB - still different and incompatible interfaces, but
at least they're similar sorts of channels (general-purpose, bidirectional
data communications paths).
