Is there setting preventing folder collapsing during Outlook exit

After upgrading to Office Service Pack 1, I've noticed that the personal
folder collapses to the root folder whe exiting Outlook. When you re-open
Outllok, you have to expand the folders all over again. Any suggestions?

Hmmm, I cannot repro it here, all my folders under the default mail
transport remain expanded. Is this for your default account transport or
for additional ones?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Thanks for responding. The folder is an additional personal folder with
several sub-folders I use for storing emails according to subject areas. The
default account folder with Inbox, Outbox, Drafts, Junk E-Mail, Deleted
Items, and Norton Anti-Spam remains expanded. I have tried un-installing
Outlook and then re-installing it, but I get the same results. I have also
moved the additional personal folder to the Inbox as a subfolder, but would
still collapse upon exiting Outlook.

I believe it is the default behavior to only expand your default mail store,
not additional ones.

That's not true. I installed Microsoft Outlook on another machine before
applying Office SP-1. In the pre-SP1 version, the personal folder is kept in
the last view I established in the navigation panel for both the default
Outlook Today folder and my personal folder (see below sample)
- Outlook Today
-- Draft
-- Inbox
-- Outbox
- Personal Folder - 2005
-- Family
-- Mom
-- Sis
-- Friends
-- Bills

After installing SP-1, Outlook now keeps only the Outlook Today folder in
the last view I had while the personal folder is collapsed to the root folder
(see below).
- Outlook Today
-- Draft
-- Inbox
-- Outbox
+ Personal Folder - 2005

There's gotta be a setting in the registry to correct this. Any suggestion
would be appreciated
