Is there any way to set up a timed link?

If I created a wep-page and I wanted It to display an intro-page for 5
seconds. I can't find any information on how to da that.
 
I don't know how this can be done in Word, but in FrontPage you insert a
REFRESH system variable with a 5-second delay. This redirects to the linked
page.

The resulting HTML syntax is, for example, <meta http-equiv="REFRESH"
content="10; URL=http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/">

This opens the page at http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/ after 10 seconds.
