You have posted this message to the wrong newsgroup.
The access in this groups name refers to Microsoft Access, a database
program.
Please repost to the correct newsgroup for whatever Windows version
you are using. I would suggest you include your Windows and Office
version number in the message.
Sorry Fred, but this is where I get to "hang out" while I'm at work. It's my
community. So, technically, you're right, but I was hoping a "non-hardass"
would go ahead and answer me anyway. : )
Technically, your question is not an Access question, although it does
concern this board.
But you should probably contact the board admins about this.

It's not a question of 'being a hard ass'!
There are groups devoted to various Microsoft programs with their own
set of MVP and other knowledgeable responders. You wouldn't want us to
get a reputation as 'poachers' would you.
But seriously, a group devoted to your program is the best place to
ask. If you can't subscribe to that newsgroup, then perhaps you can
post via a web based link...
This is akin to being at, say, a Corvette rally, asking another Corvette
lover which route he took to get here, and being told, "you know, you really
should go to the AAA meeting, those guys know routefinding best!"
