Is there any way of performing calulations in powerpoint ?

I need to produce a presentation but if possible need to have live
calculations in a datasheet. Is this possible ?
 
Take a look at the spreadsheet component which comes as a part of the web
components in Office 2002 and later.
 
My suggestion is utilizing the power of VB script. Excel data sheet
seems fixed as a picture during slide-show.
