Hi
Just wondering if it is possible to have a setting to allow a page refresh
to done automatically say every x number of minutes without having to alway
click the refresh button (or F5).

So, if I was 'watching' this forum for a reply I could sit back and not push
the refresh button.....it's done automatically.
Thanks for any reply.

You might be able to do it with a macro, e.g. with AutoIt
(http://groups.yahoo.com/group/autoit).

Some info there but doesn't seem enough.
I found some other info using javascript or meta, but they say to copy/paste
a setting inbetween the header of the particular webpage.
Which bit is the header (excuse my ignorance)
Thanks

There is a comprehensive manual about macros on the
AutoIt web page. There is probably also an FAQ site
for AutoIt.

If you need information about javascript then you should
repost your question in a Java newsgroup.

Don't use the web interface which is awful. Use a newsreader to access what
are actually Usenet newsgroups. XP comes with Outlook Express which can be
set up for newsgroup access. Here is a link with info on how to do that.
