is there an api similar to FindRelatedProducts action

Hi all,
I need to determine if a prior version was installed
before I call MsiInstallProduct.

The problem is that I dont know the productcode because
it changes all the time in the build process.

The only thing I know is the upgrade code. How can I
query this and get back a product code like
FindRelatedProducts action does?
