I am trying to get a free trial download for word 2003 that will work with
windows 98. Any suggestions?

No, because it ain't gonna work. Actually, there is one suggestion. You know
what it is and you don't want to hear another person tell you that, do you?

I am taking a college course that requires word 2003 and really don't wish to
purchase an entire suite of products. I know they often offer 60 day trial
with hopes you'll purchase the item after the trial? Or is there a way to
buy just the word 2003 that would work?

Does the course actually specify that you have to use W2003 the *product*,
or just require you to submit your assignments in W0023 *format*? If the
latter, you could use OpenOffice, which is free.

In that case you are going to have to beg steal or borrow a PC with Windows
XP if you want to run Word 2003.
