T Tom Ogilvy Aug 5, 2005 #2 why not put a heavy boarder around two adjacent cells in the same column. Then adjust the row height to achieve the effect you want. Otherwise, a different interpretation at the end of the first line hit Alt+Enter and continue to type. format the cell for to wrap text under format =>Cells=>Alignment tabg.
